Terms of Use

Ellis Labs (“Ellis Labs”, “we”, “us”) operates Attune Projects, the client portal at projects.attunehub.ai (the “Portal”). The Portal is a private workspace where Ellis Labs and its clients manage an engagement together: timelines, tasks, deliverables and approvals, files, conversations, meeting notes, and the contract documents for the work.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to everyone who accesses the Portal — Ellis Labs staff and the people our clients invite to their workspace (“you”). By signing in or using the Portal you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Portal.

The Portal supports an engagement you or your organization has with Ellis Labs. If you have a signed proposal, statement of work, master services agreement, or similar contract with us (an “Engagement Agreement”), that agreement governs the commercial relationship — scope, fees, deliverables, ownership of work product, and confidentiality — and controls over these Terms wherever the two conflict.

Client accounts are created by invitation from Ellis Labs or from your organization’s designated client lead. You can only see the projects you’ve been added to, and only the material on those projects that has been marked as visible to clients.

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your organization. The Portal is a business tool, not a consumer service, and isn’t intended for children.

We may suspend or remove access when an engagement ends, when your organization asks us to, or if these Terms are violated.

You sign in with your email and a password, or with a one-time sign-in link we email you. Sign-in links are single-use and expire quickly; invitation links expire after seven days. A session lasts up to 30 days before you’re asked to sign in again, and repeated failed sign-in attempts temporarily lock the account.

You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password private, don’t forward sign-in links, and tell us right away at hello@ellislabs.ai if you think your account has been used without your permission.

You can review and sign out of your sessions, set your notification preferences, and manage any connected apps from Account & notifications inside the Portal.

You and your team may post messages and comments, propose tasks, upload files, approve deliverables or request changes, and add other material to the Portal (“Content”). You’re responsible for the Content you contribute and for having the right to share it.

Everything in the Portal carries a visibility setting. Client-visible material is shown to the client team members on that project; material marked internal is visible only to Ellis Labs staff. Ellis Labs controls those settings for the work it produces, and anything a client uploads is automatically shared with that client’s own team.

The Portal keeps history on purpose. Files keep their earlier versions, and each project keeps an activity log, so the trail of a project can be reviewed later. Staff can archive a file to remove it from view; archiving hides a file but does not destroy it.

Ownership of the deliverables, designs, copy, strategy, and other work product Ellis Labs produces for you is set by your Engagement Agreement. Nothing in these Terms transfers rights beyond what that agreement provides.

You keep ownership of the Content and materials your organization provides. You give Ellis Labs permission to store, display, and use them within the Portal in order to deliver the engagement.

The Portal itself — its software, design, playbooks, templates, and methods — belongs to Ellis Labs and its licensors. You may use it only to take part in your engagement. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product from it.

When you use the Portal, you agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access projects, files, or accounts that aren’t yours, or probe, scan, or interfere with the Portal’s security.
• Upload malware, unlawful material, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Use the Portal to harass anyone, to send spam, or to misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
• Scrape the Portal or overload it with automated requests.
• Share material you don’t have the right to share.

The Portal includes an AI assistant that can answer questions about your projects and, when you ask it to, take actions such as drafting updates, creating tasks, or requesting work. It works strictly within your own permissions: it can only see and do what you could see and do yourself, and any action that sends a message or affects other people asks you to confirm first.

The assistant is a tool, not a decision-maker. It can be wrong or incomplete. Review anything it produces before you rely on it, and treat its output as a draft rather than as advice.

The Portal also includes AI teammates: agents that work on tasks your project team assigns to them, or on a schedule the team sets. An AI teammate works with the permissions of the staff member who started it, records each step it takes, and parks its work for a person to review before it is treated as done or shared with you. Its output is subject to the same visibility settings as everything else.

You may connect third-party AI apps (for example, Claude, ChatGPT or Grok) to your account through an approval screen where you choose the access level — read-only, or read and act. A connected app receives the same scoped access as you and nothing more. You can revoke a connected app at any time from Account & notifications, and it stops working immediately.

The Portal sends transactional email — invitations, sign-in links, and notifications about the projects you’re on — from an Ellis Labs address. You choose which notifications reach you by email, in the Portal, or both, and every notification email includes a one-click unsubscribe.

Replies to notification emails are delivered back into the matching Portal conversation so your team can see them. Only the people already on that conversation can post to it this way.

The Portal may display your proposal, the unsigned proposal document, and a reference to the e-signature envelope for your engagement. Changes to scope are recorded as change orders rather than as silent edits. The signed documents themselves — not what the Portal displays — are the binding versions.

We work to keep the Portal available and secure, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.

Keep your own copies of anything important. While we retain files and history as described above, you shouldn’t treat the Portal as your only backup.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ellis Labs and its people are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Portal. Our total liability for claims relating to the Portal is limited to the amount you paid Ellis Labs for the engagement during the twelve months before the claim, unless your Engagement Agreement provides otherwise. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to hold Ellis Labs harmless from claims that arise from Content you contribute or from your breach of these Terms.

You can stop using the Portal at any time, and your organization’s client lead can remove team members. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken, when an engagement ends, or if we discontinue the Portal. The sections about ownership, liability, and disputes continue to apply after access ends.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Ellis Labs has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located there — unless your Engagement Agreement sets a different governing law or venue, in which case that applies.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material we’ll let you know in the Portal or by email. Continuing to use the Portal after a change means you accept it.
